The LRI Pressure Activated Firing Head provides the operator with safe and reliable means of detonating a perforating assembly with well pressure.
This tool is used when perforating assemblies are to be detonated in highly deviated or horizontal wells. Or it can be used where the tubing string design that does not allow a drop bar actuated firing head to be used.
The LRI Pressure Activated Firing Head incorporates a “tensile stud” which is designed to break at a precise pressure
level (+/- 5%).
Features:
- Predictable actuation pressure for each stud. No confusion about the number or size of pins required. The actuation pressure is printed on each stud.
- Easy to redress in the field if well conditions change. The only tool required is a set of snap ring pliers.
- The tool can be furnished in an absolute or differential configuration.
- The tool can be used as a redundant firing head below the perforating assembly.
