 KOBE (PRESSURE RELEASE) SUB

The LRI Kobe Sub allows users to equalize pressure between the annulus and tubing conveyed perforating string; commonly this is used in pressure testing production packers. The Kobe sub is placed below the production packer and above the differential sub when using a mechanical firing head. A hollow pin, once broken with wireline deployed logging tools, allows equalization of pressure between the tubing string and annulus.
Features:
- Face seal between head of pin and sub body ensures the most reliable seal possible.
- Incorporates a Teflon seal ring contained in female EUE threads for greater sealing reliability.
