The Propellant Technology Development Group’s goal is to integrate perforation, well stimulation, well production, computer modeling, and high-speed data collection technologies. Each of the individual companies had been working on components of this technology, and when Marathon Oil Company took the lead in forming the group, the joint expertise and resources proved successful in developing this technology.

Propellant Technology Development Group personnel represent a broad base of knowledge, experience, and expertise. The group has access to the combined resources of the individual participating companies.

This booklet is intended to supplement the Stim Technology Manual (undated, 188 pp. produced by the Stim Group). The above-noted publication describes the research and technical information regarding Stim Group materials in great detail. Propell™ products are available only to licensed users of Stim technology, as defined by the Stim Group.
